There are many types of conservatives neolib. I would expect strict constructionists to automatically be anti-evolution.

Southern Baptists are probably the largest, and along with other Evangelicals form a pretty large block anymore. That is where the pressure is coming from.

You seem to be pretty focused, and knowledgeable about people that are religious. Do you have any statistics showing the number of Evangelical churches in America, and how many members there are in each church? How many of those members are democrats..republican...libertarian ect...

You make it sound like we all need to be on the lookout for an all out takeover of American politics by the "religious right."

I don't know......do you believe Evangelicals, or Christians in general, are sinister? I ask because I read posts like yours allot on SI and I thought you could provide an insight that others seem to be unable or incapable of giving. Maybe I'm misreading your posts?
