We'll just have to agree to disagree. I think if you look for drugs, you find MORE drugs. I'll put my faith in the stem cell guys - they're looking for CURES, just not here so much.

They don't do much research for cures because they have no idea how to pursuit it.

I thought that was what "research" was about. Also, very few pharms are doing any research in new anti-biotics. Not because they don't know how to pursue it, but because it's not as profitable as drugs taken for a lifetime. They also aren't very keen on the vaccine business. Not enough margins and too much risk if an epidemic doesn't come to pass.

And those "cure" drugs were engineered by the drug companies you never quit bitching about.

I was especially impressed when you listed the cure for broken bones. I'm curious. Which pharm developed the cure for broken bones? TIA.

Move to Canada, their drugs/docs are cheaper(not of the same quality as US's).

They are cheaper. I'm sure that everyone here would be very grateful to see that data on the quality comparison. Where's the link?
