Great call R.
What a day to be in HISC
Just sucks that it had to be a day of tragety.

HISC hit 40 bagger for me yesterday at .06. I first posted about it 2/15/05 on SI when I bought at .0015. I mentioned it here when it was .029.

I think it still has a lot more to go, particularly over the next 4-6 weeks with OTC BB, a Phase III approval, potential Savanah port contract for huge money, actual revenues and earnings, with projections that support a much higher price.

I don't know anything about this stock picker, but picked this up on another board.

FinancialSpider.com Features Larry Oakley’s 6 picks for 2005

Commerce City, CO --(www.FinancialNewsUSA.com)-- 07/14/2005 - FinancialSpider.com features Larry Oakley’s 6 picks for 2005.

About Larry Oakley

Larry Oakley, an independent stock analyst, and his website WallStreetCorner.com was a winner in Cisco Systems' "Cisco Growing with Technology Awards" program in November 2004 - Their prize was $15,000 of Cisco equipment. Larry Oakley’s Stock Picks, Opinions, Comments, and Bold Ventures editorial columns at www.WallStreetCorner.com are extensions of, the newsletter, Conservative Speculator (CS), which has been published for 20 years.

CS, and its associated columns, and their participants' Corporate Profiles are now read by several hundred thousand investors in more than 83 countries. In addition, they are regularly read by brokers, analysts, fund managers, and other financial professionals who appreciate the potential of emerging growth situations.

Featured below are the 6 companies and Larry Oakley’s commentary on each.

Southern Peru Copper (NYSE:PCU)

PCU has a price to earnings ratio of a low 5.17, & pays a dividend at the current annualized level of about 21%, having raised its dividend each of the last few quarters.

Copper inventory is now at a 31-year low, & demand is certainly rising. In addition to the electric cable & other industries that one normally associates with copper, demand for copper will most likely increase from both the aircraft and hybrid car industries. Hybrid cars use a tremendous amount of copper, & the production of hybrid cars is accelerating at a substantial rate.

Gastar Exploration, Ltd. (Toronto:YGA & Pink Sheets: GSREF) (OTC:GSREF)

Gastar develops natural gas wells. The price of gas should, in my opinion, continue to rise. Power plants, for example, in many cases burn coal, but in the U.S., we're consuming about 35 million tons per year more coal than we're mining. That caused some plants to switch to gas.

This situation is a solid gas play with exceptional holdings, & a proven success record. Every one of its deep wells in East Texas has been a huge winner.

Valence Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:VLNC)

VLNC is an energy alternative play. It developed highly efficient batteries that can power hybrid cars & understand it to be its batteries will be used in some taxicabs - that could result in a big market. VLNC still has losses, but its potential interests me. Its N-Charge portable battery pack that can power a laptop for five to 10 hours, is available at Best Buy (NYSE:BBY), Circuit City (NYSE:CC), & other distributors.

BHP Billiton Ltd. (NYSE:BHP)

The largest mining firm in the world, BHP is literally a supermarket of metals & such basic commodities as iron ore & coal. Its contracts are rolled over annually, & this last time at a 70% to 80% price increase, which should be reflected in its earnings in the next four quarters. It has about 38% of the world's uranium reserves.

Kingsley Coach, Inc. (OTCBB:KNGS)

Kingsley manufactures custom, luxury coaches & special use coaches. It recently expanded its product line to include medical, communications, entertainment, & various business-use coaches. A Kingsley Coach is mounted on a heavy duty chassis powered by such top-name tractors as Peterbilt, Kenworth, Volvo, & Freightliner. It has an automatic transmission, a heavily reinforced body, up to a 500,000-mile guarantee, & ultimate quality. It provides great comfort, safety, & high-performance. RV owners refer to the Kingsley Coach as "The Most Extraordinary Home on the Road." John Merkent recently took over as CEO. He increased production, expanded operations, & is building sales through an aggressive marketing campaign.

Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc.(OTC:HISC)

HISC's proprietary technology has resulted in innovative & sophisticated security products. One of its key target markets is the 361 commercial seaports in the U.S. that are vulnerable to criminal penetration. It has turned the profit corner. Another is the consumer market that really got my interest.

Its patent-pending Cyber Tracker is a 5 inch square by 1 inch thick battery powered GPS device that utilizes Motorola technology. Placed in a vehicle, other asset, or with a person, it uses a customized software application transmitted wirelessly to track the asset or person on a computerized map. You can define such criteria as speed, location, stopping time, route designation, etc. Alarms can be triggered if any of the criteria are violated. Practical application - your daughter when on a date.

"Geo fencing" is a unique characteristic of the Cyber Tracker that allows you to define specific areas that can be determined as "off limits" -- it will trigger alarms if the assigned Cyber Tracker enters the defined space. The reverse can also be used by “fencing” a vehicle, asset, or person inside a defined area.

HISC on 7/6/2005 received its second major order from Pro.Sec, a Middle Eastern security company, for 5,000 Cyber Trackers at a base price of $499.99 per unit. The order translates to $2.5 million for the hardware, which does not include subsequent fees for software & service. Shipments will begin in Q42005.

I had mentioned HISC back at the beginning of this board. It's close to a 100 bagger for me from .0015 if you check my first posts about it on SI.

(However, I don't have the courage of SOROS to make it the 25% of my port. It was over that because of the huge runup but it wasn't when I bought.)

In any event, if interested, it should test the high of .15, look at my notes of the conference call on the HISC board here. They indicated that they are an acquisition candidate and they outlined their plans for going to OTC BB and eventually to Nasdaq.
