Wechsler, sorry. From what I understand, the basic skills test scores can be converted to IQ, because the test is g-loaded enough?

The only reason I have a number is that I wanted to go to "gifted camp" in jr high school in 1988 and the application had a spot for iq score. It was a really big deal to get my guidance counselor to tell me the number. It's supposed to be a secret, in her view. There were three spaces on the piece of paper. One was blank, one was 138 and the other was 142. I think she just used a chart to convert the basic skills test to an estimated number, but I don't know for sure. It's all pretty stupid.
