Do you actually pay mensa money every year to carry a card that says you are smart? I got an application once and read the terms. I couldn't get over giving them money for absolutely nothing but bragging rights. It didn't seem very, um, intelligent.

What is it that you like about the bible? Structure, order, consistency, and usefulness. It contains advice that will cure life's problems. It is basic information before leaving earth. Did you think Joshua was a "GOOD" person?? He was humble and obedient, at least. There are good qualities in all people, but no one is purely good. Judgement belongs to God, so it is a moot point. How about Samson?? Was HE good?? He was good to have on your side in a brawl. Who do you think was good people in the bible? Who bad? People are just people. They are both good and bad. The bible is the record (to a large degree) of God's "favored" people? The favored people are any who want to join. Everyone gets the same reward. There are no late fees. And you love "GOD"...WHY??? There's a new reason every second. Right now, it's because I have the chance to present you with these words one more time: John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
