If there is no eternal life (and no God), and you could know this after death (or before), would you feel cheated? Or are the ideas of the Bible in and of themselves enough for you, even if their only truth is a sort of fictional truth- the kind of truth we get from a good book of any type?

"He was humble and obedient, at least." Was he a serial killer and a genocide practioner as well? "People are just people. They are both good and bad." That does not answer my question as to who in the bible was good or bad? Was Jesus good? Ws Paul good?. Was Peter good? Remember..I asked you about people in the bible. People may be good and bad; but the bible still judges them. Lot had sex with his daughters and was considered one of the best and most "upright"! He gave out them little babies, I guess. Do YOU think that having sex and impregnating your daughters is moral? God did...RIGHT???
