I see the logic of your post, but I really object to spelling "conquer" as "concur"! I wouldn't object except that "concur" IS a word that has to do with agreement rather that gaining land over dead bodies. You used it so many times that I had to re-assess my opinion of you. I still respect your posts--but you are obviously not a literary sort. Nothing wrong with that. I came from the farm and became well-read by accident...and by selling VeriBest garden seeds and Christmas cards... There are no aliens here, yet, Oeconimus. I would have spotted then right away. But it is really difficult to believe that there is not LIFE out there! The possibilities are infinite. We may be an ant hill. Everything an ant does seems to further a survival plan. We have no way of knowing if they "think". The scientists are limited and not so bright always! So IF we ARE an ant hill...will THEY have any respect? AND DO WE "have any compassion or respect?
