I think he meant conker as in the game where you swing a horse chestnut on a stick and try and obliterate your opponents chestnut also dangling on a stick. The game was originally invented by savage Mandingo warriors as a test of manhood but they would use coconuts instead of horse chestnuts. The interjection "oops" comes from the original playing of this game.

Thanks for correcting my spelling. I know how much misspellings disturb the intellectually superior literary sorts among us, so I generally try to avoid making them. But, alas! Some of us aren't perfect.
