Yes Bush is more motivated by personal annimosity, towards Dad, and a desire to show him up AND slap SH for daring to go after a Bush.

War was inevitable on 911.

The Impeachment Question

The country doesn't really have the time to waste on the score settling of impeachment.

We need the kind of leadership that will get us out of the way of the harm facing us, particularly the serious risks of oil shortages, as well as the metastability of our economy. The debt we face is just unsustainable, and sooner or later there will be a run from the dollar. Then what ?

I don't see any serious thinking about what to do about this. Instead Congress has their entire collective head in the sand, we have one $80 billion military spending bill after another being passed, spending like drunken sailors, it's simply insane. Oh and meanwhile Republicans talk about how we have to cut unnecessary spending on things like NPR, like that's going to make any difference. Who's kidding who ?

Republicans and Democrats alike are to blame for the situation, and little will be served by impeaching Bush. Any more than frying some convicted murderer will bring his victims back to life. Congress has itself to blame for not being the slightest bit circumspect about the reasons for going to war.

Why do all of the libs keep wasting our time on this thread with questions about the intention of al Quaeda. They are the most hated group of Islamoterrorists on the face of the planet. None of you even bothered to make any intelligent points about the bombing in London yesterday. Why?: Because it contradicts your thesis that Bush is a chimp and we should all leave the world for the terrorists to intimidate.

Super job to all of you non interventional Marxists. Just sit back and dream that everyone gets along in this world. Your polls are meaningless to the real people of America that will never accept a world dominated by terrorists. Keep spewing about Rove and Bush and how to get them out of office. Ignore the big picture for another 3 years so that the Republicans can pull another strong nominee out of the hat to lead the world forward. I sure won't consider the election of any Democrat that doesn't show 100% support for the WOT.
