Yup, hence my reference to Uzbekistan where Bush is doing exactly what he blames past presidents for doing; supporting a thug who gives him whatever he wants in exchange for being in power.

Could be. Blair is a born-again-imperialist. He thinks the British are to be vehicle of bringing law and order to a chaotic world (that should of course appreciate the UK by diverting its resources to British corporations)...but at least Blair looks, acts, and talks more like a head of state.
