See if NY has a solar rebate program; it'll help.

Yeah, I was looking into that.

I was wondering what it would take to be a distributor
and/or installation outfit seeing how its related to my field.

The mind-guck here is that this type of talk seems to peek
around the same time as the oil price.

I remember how big solar tech was gonna be back during the
oil shortage of the seventies.

It always seems so real and then the market swings the other
way. Dunt it.

How do we know this sine wave does not just flow smoothly into
another technological breakthrough that "saves us all".

Whattif oil just sort of flat lines here for a little while,
say 5 years or so and technology catches up.

The crappie economy of the 70's lasted a good long time and
wafted around. The world didn't end and we never crumbled.

These are the things that float around in my head that make
me wonder if this is near some sort cycle change.

I hope so. Just paid $2.57 per gallon to fill up my truck.
I also looked around my garage at all my neat power tools
that will be useless if things roll out the way the articles
say.

I hardly even got to use my new wood lathe and band saw.
