That's really interesting stuff. I love Mendocino- we're thinking of buying some property there...although I wasn't considering farming it :-)

We need to create "bubble" right where we are. This localized answer needs to be taken to a wider scale with the same information and meetings in town halls across the land. Here in Carbondale the same is happening. Meeting two nights ago about independent food and fuel production. Rifle has a biodiesel unit that you can schedule your own block of 8 hours on to make or learn to make fuels. Aspen brings in global movers and shakers for conferences. Amory Lovins digs are a few miles up the road. Getting the word out. That is a priority.
