>> SI has shown their political persuasion and has also made it clear that they do not believe in the Constitutional right to free speech. The ACLU should make an example of SI.

Your understanding of the ACLU's mission, the Constitution, and the distinction between government and business are all rather lacking.

The ACLU is not a regulatory or enforcement agency and has no standing in the matter. If anything, they would support the rights of the owners of this site to operate it as they see fit without government interference.

The "Right to Free Speech" is an obligation of government, not private enterprise. Private businesses have no obligation to provide a forum for "free speech" anymore that you have an obligation to provide it on your property or at your business. This is a private business, not a division or agency of the federal government. Accordingly, you (should) have no such expectation to a right to free speech here.

Dear Dunce,

You do not have a right to free speech on a privately owned bulletin board. Neither can you force the editor of your local paper to print your letter. SI Dave is completely right in this matter.

Sincerely,

More Informed Than You.
