Some issues transcend parties - until we can produce power without darkening the sky's from coal or killing all the fish with dams or get over our issues with nuclear, I don't see much use bitching about oil dependance. And isn't that exactly the problem. Americans have stopped bitching and instead are led through the nose by incompetent politicians whose vested interest is to not get us off the oil. Americans are getting what they deserve........a Bush.
