I think you will find imus to be a big tent republican. He loves McCain and Biden and is against what he sees as extremes of both parties. He also took on the pompous Clinton at that reporters gig a few years ago. He and Cheney had a great interview although he calls him Porkchop. Bush senior is a big fan although junior gets nailed from time to time. IMUS actually likes Bush and had a very hard time maintaining his support for kerry. He is no fan of michael moore for instance. AS bill says about me, Imus is all over the place.

Imus is an entertainer and I enjoy listening to him in the mornings. My impression of him is that he has good instincts, but has weak convictions, and is frequently seduced by the liberal atmosphere of the world he lives in.
