You are just steamrolling.
"So are the rules against rape, genocide, adultery, etc. ABSOLUTE over time? Or do they change at the whim of God from time to time, from Testament to Testament?"

Rape is nowhere encouraged in the bible in fact there are prohibitions against it and penalties prescribed for those who are guilty. The examples you tried to throw out in mass demonstrate that, so I can see why you feel you must throw out another three out of context quotes before we are done with Numbers 31:. I'm sure you are convinced that if you just throw enough mud something is bound to stick but so far all the mud is on you. Adultery is also not promoted in the bible. It is always seen as being wrong. Genocide is not mentioned as such but murder which is defined as the unwarranted taking of innocent Human life certainly is always wrong. War however involves the taking of life that is not necessarily unwarranted or innocent. God is the ultimate judge of who is or is not innocent and who and who does not warrant death. I know if you were God you would have it all worked out in a jiffy given your astounding intellect and ability to contemplate your navel AND chew gum at the same time, but the positions been taken.
