Wow! I guess this is what makes the horse race :) I see it completely differently.

>> I would be part of the crowd to support him, since he has done everything that I have expected him to do as President.

I would not support him precisely since he has done every thing I expected he would do.

>> The guy has a poplular mandate.

The first time around he was selected by the court even though fallow ups showed Gore won. The second time assuming you ignore all the fraud accusations from Ohio, he won by a narrow statistical margin. Either way it is not a "mandate".

>> He has a responsibility to bring down the terrorists.

I think Bush has been creating more terrorists than OBL could ever dream of.

>> They declared war on the US and Britain.

I don't recall Iraqis to declare the war. And Britain jumped in on its own. No war was broght to them even with the greatest stretch of imagination.

>> They declare war on our interests and allies every day.

It so happens the "our interests and allies" happen to be their oil and their governments. Who do you think should have the bigger say in this?

>> They think 95% of the Islamic community is impure.

I know of many Christians like that too...but in any event, this is a Muslim problem and should be solved by them not us.

>> Are the Baathists AQ? They are now.

A good example of how Bush has furthered the cause of OBL.

I heard Michael Scheuer the other day on the British TV program Newsnight. He made a very scary point. He said that the Jihad is now approaching levels of self-sustainment. That is to say, thanks to Neocons' policies, we are getting to the point where it does not matter if we win in Iraq or not. Various cells around the globe are being inspired by AQ and becoming self-starters. This is a nightmare all of our own making.

You know Bob, I can't tell if you're joking or if you actually believe what you just wrote.

1. Bush was selected by the SC. For his campaigns, he uses slander and lies just to keep up and the questions of voter fraud and intimidation abound. This is NOT a popular mandate. Nixon had a popular mandate, Bush does not.

2. Bush does not care about OBL. He admits that he doesn't even think about him much. After the worst terrorist attack in US History, Bush sends 20,000 troops to topple the government of an entire country and find OBL.

He then promptly changes course and goes to iraq with 200,000 troops for oil, war profiteering and personal gain.

3. Terrorists do not officially declare war on a country. They are individuals and not governments. It's time to stop hyperventilating about the problem and find ways to understand it and fix what can be fixed. Terrorism works only when we react to it, it does not work in a vacuum.

Londoners went back to work, frightened as they rightfully are, which is the smart thing to do. The US invaded another country not involved in the terrorist attack. There is no way you or anyone else can justify that.

4. The War on Terrorism is nothing more than an ad slogan. It's meaningless. Your blaming of liberals is also meaningless. Bush has created the scene for over 500 suicide attacks. Bush doesn't even bother to think about OBL any longer. Bush is not a liberal.
