(OT)I love the Sailfish Marina. I like the little steakhouse next to it: The Bucaneer. You'd think it was 1970's when you walk in. MP

You're talkin' about my neck of the woods. Stayed at the Sailfish in the eraly 70's. Before WPEC bought it. Used to live on Singer Island. They used to have a nice little restaurant there when Bruce W. ran it. Then they rebuilt the place, hired a restaurant management company and the prices went throught the roof and it turned into a tourist trap.

Yep, Scripps is a big deal here. A give away of environmentally sensitive land.

What keeps your daughter from fleeing the hellish weather and hurricanes? I stayed in silverton co for a week, it was pretty nice, I liked it a lot, but the weather in the summers still seems so hot compared to coastal washington or oregon. I will make sure not to eat at the restaurant, nothing like bad seafood to ruin your day. hehe
