Stock margin debt is a pittance compared with mortgage debt..

Of course stock margin very different than traditional mortgage debt -- but some of these newer products that have fueled the insane housing bubble really not the much different from stock margin borrowing.

Except that you can only borrow 50% on stocks versus nearly 100% on housing "investments.".
