Ted, Most body armor is made by DHB and AH and usually has a soft metal alloy encased in fabric. It is estimated that US soldiers are carrying 50 lbs of extra weight when on patrol.........during 110º heat. They are able to shower maybe once or twice per month. Think about what that is doing to their physiology. Can you explain more about "DHB" and "AH"? I have no doubt that our soldiers have to wear a lot of extra pounds, but the only body armor I'm familiar with is kevlar with ceramic plates. DHB industries and Armor Holding...........they are the major suppliers of body armor. And yes, they make ceramic vests as well but I believe the metal alloy vests are the latest configuration......could be wrong on that one.....here's a DHB description of one of their vests: The Rock front-opening modular correctional vest integrated over seven features with patents currently pending. This includes the industry’s only front opening metal alloy and soft armor designs, as well as a reverse closure system and modular components, providing both tactical and concealable mission specific configurations. dhbindustries.com Plus, it's hard to imagine anything wearable that can stop a bullet from a high-powered sniper rifle, but it's likely that Mr. Insurgent just had a regular rifle. I don't imagine the insurgents are fighting with high powered rifles but if they are, most likely they are 15 years old...from the first Gulf War. ted

Excuse me.......I don't get how he was able to do both jobs.......esp. one that pays $8 million. Both are full time jobs. This is a joke.
