Certainly perceived low real borrowing rates is the mentality by many. Borrow at 1%, accrue interest at 5% and inflation in property values at 20% seems a given if you are 25-28 years old and your only view as an adult is what has transpired the past 2-3 years in your market. Is it a coincidence that is the age of the leading edge of the echo boom. Comparable time period for when the oldest boomers where in that age range would be 1973-74?
