Well, you figure they're still waiting for Castro to fall, and that's easy compared to North Korea.

In a way they really are better off than in some countries, such as Angola or Congo.

However, I wouldn't bet on lifting sanctions as amy magical way to put an end to the regime either. Remember, it's in China's interest that North Korea exists - these things never exist in a vacuum, and are never "all our fault".
