I could not agree with you more on this. This very threat is a call for noble human beings to stand up to any corrupt person or venture that threatens the autonomy of an individual or the peaceful coexistance of free peoples.

Agreed. However, no nation has proven itself against all challengers ... so far.

I haven't completely given up on it yet but if civil war is to be, then we may still see multiple nations instead of the one. The country is clearly sectionalized for more than one reason, which makes it hard to believe they will end up with one united government.
