What a steal that would have been. We contacted a realtor and took a few days on our way back home from an extended camping trip in '99 to look at a few houses. Could have had a real cutie on a creek with lovely views on 2 1/2 acres for $72,000. I'm sure it's worth much more now. Neither one of us could envision packing it all in and moving that far away from friends and family. Even today Hamilton seems like it's across the ocean. Just too far away. Besides.......the ski area was too far away too. A prerequisite if we ever moved. Good ski area and good fishing.......all close by.
