(i understand <i think> runs... but wickets ? -LOL ! and the name... cricket ? good thing it was not invented in mexico... it could have been called cockroach ? LOL ! strangely... there has to be some sort of crazy string with english sports, as on the other side of the spectrum, as opposed to the very civilized and safe cricket, there is rugby... you certainly have to be totally deranged to play rugby... full contact sport, elbowing, kicking, you-name-it allowed, included with no helmets, padding, or anything but shorts and shirts... i'll stay with soccer, thank you very much.... fast, accurate, skilled, at at times incredibly close; to boot, violence (amongst those who play well, is shunned). unlike ice hockey in which violence is actually promoted... hell, might as well skipp the ice skating part, get the gloves on and have at it.... (it is called boxing actually ) -gg
