Most of them are probably quite a bit like some of the folks on SI. I don't think that it is appreciated that the insurgency takes place within a tribal society. Tribal is just a way of saying that people's neighborhoods are filled with close relatives. It makes sense in evolutionary terms to sacrifice your life to benefit a number of close relatives. Neither madness nor extremism is required to explain their actions. TP
