The assassination attempt on Bush Sr. may have been a hoax. I was reading that the guys they arrested were just flunkies who were probably framed. I don't know, could be anything, but check it out before you state it's a fact. Remember around that time we were putting out a lot of propaganada (successfully) some of which wasn't true. Like Saddamites killing Kuwaiti babies in their incubators. Notice Bush Sr. didn't follow Saddam back to Baghdad. Maybe he was smart. maybe he knew the alternative was worse. especially occupying that crazy place. Why did GW never plan for the occupation?

Are you on drugs, my friend? You are comparing Saddam's mischief and equating it to Al Qaeda acts of flying two planes into the towers and killing more than 3000 American lives? Your post proves my point that Bush has screwed up priorities. Do you seriously believe that the US is attack proof today? Britain thought so all the while until they were hit. You really think he is fighting a war or is he playing a hide and seek? Sometimes he wins sometimes he looses.
