Who says Bush didn't plan for an occupation of Iraq? It's happening, however frought with determined asshole murderers of a religious bent, beyond his expectations. That Iraq is tough doesn't make it a wrong effort to partake in, and the toughness may even indicate that it is a RIGHT effort, one where the worst fanatics are determined to fight.

So perhaps Clinton was a pawn in a hoax assassination of Bush Sr. which Saddam's Iraq never planned. Even if so, we do know Saddam's Iraq would enjoy a successful outcome to such a plot, and we do know it's reasonable to think it likely Saddam WOULD plot such a thing. Just recall Saddams many words (no one has to make them up, you realize....just from the horses mouth).
