Al Qaeda would hardly decide to, or be forced to, stay at home. Al Qaeda's followers would be involved in their own local problems if the U.S. was not always louder and more urgent. TP

If the US stopped needing a drop of oil from the Middle East tomorrow, Al Qaeda would hardly decide to, or be forced to, stay at home. But without the need for oil, we wouldn't have put bases in Saudi Arabia or invade Iraq. Consequently, al Qa'ida would have stayed out of our business. ted
