American cars have come so far I do not see myself ever buying a foreign brand again. My last foreign vehicle was an Acura Legend. It was a great automobile, but like ANY vehicle sooner or later it needs normal maintenance items (we keep our vehicles for years). THATS when they nail you good. Things like mufflers, water pumps and other NORMAL maintenance items after 50k miles or so are at least TRIPLE what American brands sell for. jdn

As I said when I was in the car business the only reason to have new cars is to get good trades. There is no money in new cars.
