I guess I am not in agreement here, because I don't see the benefit of a covert Mossad activity, especially during the latest flubbed attempt in London. The whole thing was so amateurish, a real organization like the Mossad could not be associated with it. Why would they take risks and spend their coin on a nonsensical event like that? And besides that, what possible benefit for the risk? The British are actually lap dogs to the Americans, and if one wanted to foster hatred of Arabs, (and that could be an Israeli goal, not hatred of Islam) using Pakistanis and Caribbean nationals simply does not fit.

Why not do an action against the US, striking at the alpha dog, instead of the Chihuahua?

If such covert action is needed to pursue a specific Israeli agenda, it should have been a specific attack. How does this help Israel in its struggle against the Palestinians, and the land grab underway now? How can anyone tie the two together?

Anyway, such a sloppy operation just doesn't support the Mossad argument in my opinion.

Taro > The British are pretty keen on details and if they said left overs of timers were notoriously absent as they did, it either mean none was there, high confidence level.

Far be it for me to dispute your confidence in the British authorities, but there was indeed a report of unexploded bombs and timers on 7/7.

guardian.co.uk

>>Vincent Cannistraro, the former head of the CIA's counter-terrorism centre, told The Guardian that "two unexploded bombs" were recovered as well as "mechanical timing devices".<<

Of course, since every effort was made subsequently to pin a suicide attack on the four Muslims who allegedly did it, this information has been suppressed, as this Wikipedia page shows.

NB. The references for the unexploded bombs and timers are given at the foot of the page.
