Pretty much our entire nation has drunk the koolaid regarding Israel and that won't change anytime soon. Hicks who haven't met an Israeli or even a Jew in their entire lives are passionate about defending it, even though every day our troops are bleeding to death on the desert sands all due to Israel. Thinking isn't something most Americans are good at.

I can't go so far as to say it is "right" that they think that way. I'm too much of a relativist. I see both sides in the ME- and it's so tangled, and so many wrongs have been done on all sides, I think apportioning blame and "rights" and "wrongs" at this point is just impossible. Where do we go from here, and what can we do now- are the only questions I think I can deal with. I would not want to try to answer "Whose fault is it?".
