EP, note that immigration from the British Commonwealth remnants of the British Empire was stopped as per Enoch's suggestion. Everyone frowned at the racist implications then adopted the process. Neither does the USA hold the lantern for the huddled masses yearning to breathe free to move in from around the world. They have trouble enough with the Mexican invasion.

It's ironic that I [with a couple of English grandfathers] am banned but immigrants from Pakistan are now blowing the place up.

I think I have more cultural affiliation with the British way of life than do Moslems, especially the Islamic Jihad variety.

The outcome will eventually be miscegenation and new countries melded from the mobs.

The interim will not be all that pretty.

I don't know about Florida, but if ideological divides form around particular communities, there is trouble. Immigrants to Florida work and don't bludge [can't] on welfare, so it all works out okay.

ElM says just open all borders. Yeah right! What a shambles that would be. We don't open all our houses to anyone who wants to move in, and a country is just a house or castle writ large. They are built by people who expect to own them and enjoy the fruits of their efforts. Conquering, conquest, invasion and dispossession are as old as the hills. However the process is disguised, it's nasty for the dispossessed who are robbed.
