I am finishing up four novels by Harlen Coben. He writes "thrillers." Real "page turner" mysteries. I would not recommend reading them in a row, but give them a try.

Definitely. I'm a fan. Just can't get my local library to hand over their copy of The Innocent.

I think I know what happened. The library board trustees don't have to pay fines on overdue library books. I'm on the board and my closest friend on it is a big Coben fan. My guess is she's read it and then been passing it around the family. She, of course denies it. But we all know better.

Wanta come argue that members of the board shouldn't have such privileges? We should have the same experiences as patrons, the better to understand how we might improve their experience. Doesn't get very far.

Just give people special privileges and they'll think they deserve them. Something like those with inherited wealth.
