The State of Idaho just projected a $200 million tax surplus for this year. They called it savings.

And they should put it in public education. See my previous reply.

Here in Monroe, one of the few red towns of Connecticut, we are also building a new library. But I donot see a public library as an essential community service. A public library is a valuable resource that provides for an enriched life.
