BAGHDAD, Iraq - A suicide attacker slammed a truck loaded with explosives into sand barriers outside a Baghdad police station Sunday, killing at least 22 people and wounding 30, police said. The U.S. put the death toll at 40. The attacker detonated his charge at the Rashad police station in the eastern neighborhood of Mashtal around 2:50 p.m., said Capt. Mahir Abdul Satar. Most of the 22 killed were civilians, police Col. Ala'a Salih said.

The congress must exchange hands, at least a tie, giving anti-Bush moderates (of both parties) and liberals the majority. Since 100% of congressmen are up for re-election this is certainly possible. Some 40 rightwing congressmen are in league with Tom DElay and he's going down as a proven crook. Just wait.
