Bush has blown it on the war on terror. You rightwingers don't get it. You keep harping about how bad Al Qaida is. Well yeah - duh. So why did Bush invest 90% of our defense assets in occupying Iraq, a country which had almost nothing to do with terrorism before we went in there? Meanwhile Bin Lauden walks free four years after 9-11 and other parts of the Arab world are getting worse not better. Plus, the Iraq occupation is resulting in scads of new terrorists, seeing us as the imperialist occupiers who just want their oil and don't respect Islam. And are we innocent? Not with two oil execs in charge and too many Christian rightwing crusaders involved. No we're not. Also, remember when you Bushies were mocking Kerry for saying counter-terrorism is mainly a police, special forces and intelligence matter? Well guess what - it always was and still is. You can't beat terrorists by occupying their homeland. You only make it worse doing that. And our huge weapons systems are mainly important against covert fast-moving terrorist cells.
