Jesus Christ is the founder and builder of the Church and He built it on the foundation of the Apostles who wrote the New Testament.

I didn't say that. He was a major figure (not the Pagan founder). The Church since the Reformation has gone back to it's Scriptural roots and Scripture reinforces all the major creeds.
