I expect that gold will be the next bubble -- probably starting next year.

But that will be the last bubble for at least a generation IMHO. Similar to the 1970s experience

Harry S. Dent, Jr. sees another stock bubble coming

In the following lengthy, thought provoking essay he presents an interesting mix of technical and fundamental analysis, with a backdrop of history, macroeconomics and cycles and calls for another stock bubble even bigger than the last as he sees "bubble after bubble in an ongoing bubble boom" (he published a book last September titled "The Next Great Bubble Boom").

Written about three months ago, his forecasts for later this year are the beginning of a slide in oil, commodities, and housing prices, a temporary lowering of bond yields later this year, and a short slide on the dollar followed by a rise. In summary he called the Dow 4/21 low the "buy of a lifetime." But he would rethink his predictions if the Dow falls to 9500 or if the markets don't show a strong rally by early 2006.
