Bombing the muslim holy sites would have no effect whatsoever on our situation with terrorists. Do you really think al queda leaders are motivated by spiritual considerations over power and politics? They control and motivate their fanatics just as the neocons manipulate our know-nothings.
Bombing their holy sites would probably result in attacks on the Vatican and still more bombs at the Western Wall, however.
Until the US starts to address the root cause of Islamic terrorism we're just feeding the ever growing war machine.

This whole proposition, bombing Mecca, located in Saudi Arabia is so preposterous, it is not even worth discussing.. Unless of course you want to start a 3rd world war and get it over with..

Why stop with nuking Mecca? Why not just nuke ALL religious holy sites everywhere? They just cause trouble. I'd especially be in favor of nuking Jerusalem. That hole is holy to THREE religions. You get a threefer there!

It has the huge bonus that we only have a couple of "holy" sites here in the US, and they're just holy to Mormons!
