On the other thread i post on, folks who defend the positions of the bush admin as if no changes are needed are always using the stay the course mantra in lieu of facts imo, so empty of content it is vacant. Stay the course to me talks to the WOT but it does not mean every strategy and/or tactic cant ever be changed. Please note that the iraqi pm wants us out. Timetables are here just in time for 06 congressional elections i think. Mike

Except for the spelling mistakes, this was said for Vietnam too. It was wrong them, and it's wrong NOW. The Iraqis want us gone.
It's their country, and it's for them to decide the government they want. Any government with the invaders fingerprints will fail, just as they did in Vietnam. We invaded Iraq for control of oil and military basing. Don't kid yourself.
