Ish, When I was in college in Missouri, I had a basement apartment. In the early days in that place, I bought Raid by the case. My friends laughed and said that the Raid wasn't killing the bugs so much as that I was drowning them.

As time went on, I got the bright idea of putting a couple of pounds of bug-killing powder in my vacuum cleaner bag. The vacuum had an extra-long wand. Sucked them suckers right up, it did. Worked for me!

I'll have to search my humble laptop for "The Story of Oscar, the Largest, Meanest Waterbug the World has Ever Known." My then landlord named it that. Trust me, it's a keeper. <g> - Holly
