Elroy, evidence of this country's Christian heritage is everywhere. It goes back to the founding of this country. If we are to adhere to a policy of erasing any mention of religion in anything that has to do with government, then we are erasing a very large part of this country's history. That to me is censorship. Why should we be ashamed of this country's Christian foundations? The answer is that we shouldn't be. Let's protect everyone's right to believe whatever they want, but let's not deny our Christian foundations and history.

Do you want to also remove "In God We Trust" from our currency?
ustreas.gov

At what cost to replace all American currency in existence today? Why is it so important that we waste all of this money in the courts and elsewhere to remove our religious history from all tangible things? Doesn't make any sense to me, especially in light of what the constitution really says. It says, that no public office should get involved in the ESTABLISHMENT of religion. It doesn't ban any public official or public forum from participating in the celebration of religion.

Elroy,
read a funny one on another thread. It's funny because it has a ring of truth to it.

Did you know the ACLU has field a lawsuit to ban the lowercase "T"? It resembles the cross and offends some people.
