It is stupid. What Rove did to Wilson was stupid. They had already or were going to retract that idiotic statement and the rightwing corporate media was going to ignore it thereafter. Rove didn't have to do anything to Wilson, it would have gone away anyway as the public has the attention span of a juvenile gnat. What Bush did in Iraq is also stupid. He desperately wanted to play out this idiotic tiff he has with Poppy and Mom loving Jebby more and he couldn't see past the toppling of Saddam. The equally imbecilic Neocons, desperate to see Israel preserved, saw their opening and they took it. Righteousness is a societal construct. You grow up in one society and you think one way, you grow up in another and you think another way.
