"If you think of the CPI, ."

Didnt say, propose one to me. Only know of one? well what does it say? Oh doesnt reflect your shopping habits so it must be wrong. Economic truths only work for you as an individual as well?

Got to give me something to go on other then not being able to handle your money better.

Your orginal "truth" is suspect versus your application of the subject. Your analogies havent flown. And you continue to site your experiances as representative rather then ANY official all incompassing index. And you STILL dont know anything about Pizza Shops ;^D

"i have already had a discussion with gpowell about the CPI and more specifically about a substitution method used in the CPI.

And he lost that debate."

Hard to imagine, I was on vacation for awhile and couldnt bear going through 1000 posts. Congrats

Just how did I "lose" that debate. After I refuted your erroneous assumption that extracting the cause of a price change was always possible you never responded.

Reminds of when you tried to define socialism, after I gave you the correct definition you never responded (or thanked me for that matter!). Message 20658997
