True, most of them probably deserved to rot in jail (the adults involved, I mean). They also deserved a fair trial in order to make that determination.

Yes, Koresch and Weaver were both nutcases. Koresch should have gone to jail. I don't know much about what Koresch did with the 13 year olds, but the result of the government's siege was that they died. The government could have done any number of things to catch Koresh and Weaver without shooting or burning them out.
