Yes, I remember the Bagwan (I used to live in Portland.) As you say, the tactics used in the other cases were terrible.

Here in Oregon we did better with the gun totting Bagwan that tried to take over Wasco county. Ever here of him? He was a riot! I recall watching his spokesperson on Nightline. Believe her name was something like Ma Anand Sheela. She was a real piece of work. I believe she was ultimately indicted, convicted and served 29 months for poisoning a salad bar in The Dalles with salmonella. Rashneesh also had a fleet of 30 or more luxury cars. I believe he was deported and died in India. PS - you wouldn't be acquainted with Greg Kafoury by any chance would you?
