NO Brazilian enterprise employs a drop out like me! MNC Siemens did. And Continues to do it after almost 30 years. A MNC is interested in the output, a Brazilian enterprise has a different mentality.

And the guy who hired me, (in 1978) was a manager who had been a truck driver. He knew that the guys with diploma dind't have the gus and the drive to perform.

Gave me three months to perform else he'd sack me. In sicweeks he visited the region where I was and said I my probation period was over. I was hired permanently.

I'm here in Iran still today, 27 years later, producing for Siemens. There's a Brazilian with a diploma who, didn;t get that job, who thinks Siemens, or any MNC are bad.

I think that even people with similar backgrounds going abroad will often have VERY different experinces, and then think their experience was somewhat typical.
