remember the camera helped catch the guy who kidnapped, raped and killed a girl while walking through the back of a car wash about two years ago... we would never have caught the guy without the camera showing her walking through the back of the car wash.

But as I posted to John, I doubt there are enough people behind those cameras or even enough to view pre recorded incidents to do much about it. The Gentleman I talked to made it fairly clear that there wasn't enough man power available to follow up on every incident.

I don't know what ever happened to the gang that was targeting credit card numbers and duplicating them on blank cards, but I do know I was 1 in 10 that had happened to in Seattle and that the FBI knew they existed. This was 12 years ago, and I think the problem has worsened.
