Do you believe the dramatic rise in debt, relative to income, shown in this chart is due to "distintermediation", "new structures" - or is it just a colossal amount of increased leverage?

energyplay Re: "TNH" Nitrogen fertilizer company shares on a tear. Explanation for the rise on Value Forum sounds similar to that offered for FDG; the prospect of increasing future dividends. I bought Friday and it is still rising. May buy more. Sometimes when you see a response this strong in a stock that is not so widely held, especially if it is an income producing stock it just keeps going.

Bought some FCT which I hope will perform like NSL and rise along with interest rates. FCT just raised the divvy for this month. That makes me wonder; as I understand it FCT is some sort of "floating rate" fund. How could rates have risen enough at this point for them to have ALREADY raised the payout? Maybe its possible though as the payout is monthly.

CPN is on a tear too. So is ARD, I got that one from Ed on Big Dog's board.
